my story

From a counselor who has been in counseling herself, I know that it takes bravery to choose to come to therapy, to be vulnerable, and to just ask for help. You can do this!

I work with all ages but LOVE working with preteens through young adults. I’ve had a heart for those struggling with eating disorders and mental health ever since I saw people close to me battling those issues while I was in college. No matter who I’m meeting with, I consider it a privilege to be able to walk alongside them in support and hope they feel welcome and comfortable showing up exactly as they are.

my qualifications

I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology and my master’s degree in professional counseling from Dallas Baptist University. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. Most recently my experience has been working in a high-acuity residential and inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient care treatment center for clients ages 8 to 65 struggling with eating disorders. I also worked at Alliance for Children serving children and their families who were walking through experiences of abuse, trauma, and grief.

let’s get personal

I am an enneagram type 4 who loves a deep conversation, visiting new coffee shops, and spending time with my fiancé and Chihuahua/Pomeranian rescue dog named Sunny. I always appreciate a good book or podcast recommendation and enjoy having breakfast for dinner or Italian food! I am a rollercoaster fanatic, aspiring author, and succulent/wildflower collector.
