I enjoy working with eating disorders and substance abuse issues because even though they can wreak havoc in people’s lives, there is hope for recovery. I’ve seen clients grow in some amazing ways, and I’m constantly inspired by my clients’ courage and hard work.
I have a Master’s of Science in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University-Commerce, and am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and an Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (IC-ADC). I have worked as an eating disorder therapist at the Eating Recovery Center (ERC) for 3 years. I am a member of the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC), and have served on the Vice President Board of Directors for The Turning Point, a non-profit that provides free services to victims of sexual assault.
let’s get personal
I absolutely love being with my family! I have 3 children… and I also have cats and a dog! My other loves are college football and traveling—especially to the beach. It’s on my bucket list to visit Tahiti someday.
